In our patients' own words.

Letters and testimonials from people who found relief through gentle, non-force care at Midtown Rehabilitation.

Dear Dr. Bénéat,

A little over a year ago I first came to you presenting a multitude of problems. I had been suffering to the point of losing the ability to walk comfortably; unable to stand up straight; sleep properly or sit for an extended period of time.

I had been introduced to chiropractic methods in 1977. My previous doctor used an invasive technique which I felt caused me an undue amount of discomfort for limited relief. I finally stopped treatment completely after a particularly painful session. I had resigned myself to “grin and bear it” rather than to continue with forced manipulation.

Through an introduction by another of your patients, I decided to try your non-force approach. You have changed my whole life!

Through your gentle guidance using conditioning and nutrition I now have a chance to begin to lead the kind of life my husband Don and myself have planned for our future.

If there is ever anything that we can do to convince anyone of the ultimate value of your treatment and personal care, please feel free to call us at any time. You have given us both a chance to once again enjoy our lives!

Sincerely,

Bobbie

Dear Michel,

When I started coming to see you about eight months ago, I was suffering from acute pain due to an ovarian cyst. At the same time I had been under the care of a dermatologist for adult acne and was very unhappy with the treatment. The treatment consisted of prescription antibiotics that I had been taking for about a year and a half.

Under your care and recommended treatment, the ovarian cyst dissipated within two months without my having to undergo major surgery to remove it. The combination of vitamin supplements, minerals and diet also resolved my skin problems allowing me to discontinue the use of the antibiotics.

You have helped me a great deal in healing my body naturally. I hope that other women are willing to consider the same form of treatment. I would be happy to share my experiences with anyone who is interested.

Best Regards,

Cynthia

Dear Dr. Bénéat,

I loved that birthday card! Thanks ever so much for the joy it brought to me—a laugh and a great message, plus the thoughtfulness.

I certainly agree about the chiropractic missing link between humans and good health. Especially since what I’ve gone through since my last visit. Here is a brief run-down.

On March 23rd when I could no longer tolerate the crippling pain in my groin area, I contacted a medical doctor with no helpful diagnosis. Then to another doctor (one of the few I have faith in, a urologist) who advised my having an MRI, which I did.

The MRI showed a large hernia in my lower right abdomen, which “should be taken care of immediately.” I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance, as I could no longer walk at all.

It’s a long story, so I’ll just say that I was kept in the hospital for 5 days and then home with almost no physical activity for 4 weeks… then my urologist called in another surgeon, resulting in surgery for removal of the hernia and repair to my damaged abdominal wall and surrounding muscle.

I returned home and have been slowly healing and can now walk as far as 5 blocks. How thankful I am that due to your treatments, my arthritic problems have disappeared. Could not have borne that and my hernia problems also.

On your marvelous and thoughtful birthday card you asked “Are you doing better?” and at last, yes indeed. I am looking forward to the day that I can again visit, because we do indeed need your chiropractic care to get me back to feeling truly healthy!

Most sincerely,

Juliette
